Evolving The Myth is a guided immersive art experience within mythic landscapes that invites participants to wake up to mystery and meaning in their lives.

For centuries, meaningful, immersive engagement with art and spirituality rested at the center of Western civilization. The “cathedral experience” was one of many potent containers that facilitated a gateway into the transcendent. Through the personalized experience of the stories, rituals, and awe-inspiring archetypal motifs of human potential, we have been exploring our relationship to the divine and what it means to live a human life wih purpose.

Through a coherent collaboration of world-class classical and imaginative art, expert facilitation informed by the most recent cognitive science, masterful storytelling, and specialists in sound and light technology, we will create experiences that shift consciousness in ways that evoke the profundity and meaning-making reminiscent of the psychedelic sacraments of our ancient ancestors.

ART AS A CULTURAL CATALYST

Art and myth have been intrinsically linked since time immemorial. Our ancestors deeply understood that mythologizing the stories of our lives and capturing their essence in exquisite beauty and awe helped us connect with the impact and meaning of our lives. Through epic, grand narrative figure paintings depicting transformational rituals and ceremonies, we create a mythic and relatable experience for deep reflection into our own place in the story of our lives.

GUIDED FACILITATION & STORYTELLING

Through the potent mythological frameworks such as the hero's/heroine’s journey, we guide participants through narrative landscapes, by curating a reflective, somatic, and interactive experience. Guides will help participants explore how myth and ritual serve as psycho-technologies that can deepen our connection to our emerging purpose and vision, so we may activate a more creative and authentic expression of ourselves.

A FULL SENSORY EXPERIENCE

We collaborate with experts in alternative methods to psychedelic sacraments, utilizing ritual, ceremony, light projection, sound, and monumental narrative art. Our goal is not only to provide entertainment but to facilitate a shift in awareness and consciousness, enabling a deeper appreciation of the cultural relevance of these practices in our modern world.

CHRISTOPHER REMMERS

Christopher Co-founded Evolving the Myth with Jeff, who he partners with to design, build, and produce Evolving the Myth Experiences.
Christopher is a classically trained artist, entrepreneur, and educator. He has over 15 years of experience as a professional artist and 10+ years experience as a design and build contractor with a focus on immersive and public space and custom woodworking fabrication. In addition, he is an instructor for classical painting and drawing. Christopher is a nature guide, based in Wild Mind and Soulcraft practices.

Jeff Co-founded Evolving the Myth with Christopher, who he partners with to design, build, and produce Evolving the Myth Experiences.
Jeff is an entrepreneur, values-based executive, wilderness wander guide, and a student of myth and storytelling. He is a Co-Founder of Foment, a consultancy that foments regeneration through co-creating organizational cultures, business models, and programs. He offers his depth of experience in leadership, facilitation, ceremonial space-holding, and entrepreneurship to shape the curated journey participants experience in immersive art environments.
